There’s a real sense of privilege to be commissioned to photograph someone, be it their first time in front of camera, or their first shoot in many years.  So it was with Shauna.  After meeting and chatting just before lockdown, it was a frustrating few months before we could finally shoot.  Within an hour, those first faltering poses transformed into some beautifully emotive images (click to view full screen)

Pretty cool eh?  But it turned out that was just a warm up for our second shoot, a few weeks later.

Some edgy fashion to warm up, then some awesome urbex modelling.  Witnessing this step from those first, awkward poses to these emotive, powerful images in only a few hours of modelling was a privilege.  (again, click to view full screen)
